Fotis on Fed Tapering & Omars Trade Planning

Welcome to members new and old & a Happy Christmas and Prosperous New Year to you all.

Yesterday our resident ex hedge fund trader, Fotis Papatehofanous (try saying that after a few Christmas drinks :) posted his thoughts on the start of the Fed tapering and in particular how he expects that to affect currency markets in the coming weeks and months. Fotis gives a detailed study of the impact of tapering on the Yens and how he aims to profit from them in 2014.

Last week Omar announced his "project groom" - the goal of which is to help as many as possible of you become more successful traders. Over the next few months he is going to focus on trade management (many of you catch great entries but then either lose or fail to maximise the potential of your trades). This is a big project and should help any of you who are currently struggling.

He will give you the entries from a new system he has been helping to develop, YOU have the chance to win prizes by successfully managing those trades.

All was explained in recent blog posts in the members area/Marc's blog.

This week will be different to normal due to the fact that the markets will be closed on Wednesday and shortened hours Tuesday & Thursday.

Professional traders around the world will now be on holiday and may will not return until the 6th of January at the earliest. For amateur traders this season can be very tempting to trade as they have some free time, best advice is follow the pros at least this week. If you have free time then study and if you need to be "hands on" then only do so with a demo account. Risking real money this week is a mugs game, don't do it!

Once again have a great holiday, we will still be posting most days, look out for the emails
